The Ambassador of Afghanistan met with students from the Action Diplomacy Program in Warsaw

H.E. Mr. Gul Hussain Ahmadi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to the Republic of Poland, met with students from the Action Diplomacy program from the Foreign Affairs Club of the Warsaw School of Economics, at the Embassy premises.
At the beginning of the meeting, Ms. Agnieszka Wójcik, on behalf of the students, spoke about the objective of the 7th edition of the Action Diplomacy Program, which is to learn more about Afghanistan, as well as to broaden their knowledge of bilateral relations between Poland and Afghanistan. She also added that the students were selected not only from the Warsaw School of Economics, but also from the other universities in Warsaw and colleges from other cities in Poland.
Ambassador Ahmadi welcomed the students and conveyed his appreciation to the Action Diplomacy Program of the Foreign Affairs Club of the Warsaw School of Economics for organizing this visit. He then gave a speech about Polish-Afghan relations and mentioned some of Afghanistan's achievements in the areas of education, both higher and primary, women’s participation in politics, security challenges and economic projects that took place throughout the last 17 years in Afghanistan.
During the second part of the meeting, the students shared their ideas and knowledge about the current situation of Afghanistan and asked many questions concerning the present state of affairs, women’s rights movements, peace process, safety issues and business-related matters in Afghanistan. The Ambassador answered all the inquiries and well explained about all the mentioned concerns accordingly.
