The Ambassador of Afghanistan visited the TVN24 Office in Warsaw

Warsaw-Poland, Wednesday 11 July 2018.

H.E. Mr. Gul Hussain Ahmadi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to the Republic of Poland, visited the TVN24 Office in Warsaw.

During this visit, Mr. Kamil de Virion, TVN24 Editors & Writers Unit Director and TVN24 programs and New Media Department Deputy Director was briefing about the various sections and activities of the TVN24 to the Ambassador.

Ambassador Ahmadi expressed his happiness to visit one of the leading private TV office in Poland and he also spoke about the achievements of the Radio & TV Stations and Media in Afghanistan.

H.E. Mr. Gul Hussain Ahmadi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to the Republic of Poland,

met with Mr. Paweł Milewski, Director of the Asia Pacific Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.

 

During this meeting Ambassador Ahmadi and Director Milewski had a discussion on the current situation and the forthcoming Parliamentary election in Afghanistan. They have also discussed and had an exchange of views on enhancing the bilateral cooperation between Afghanistan and Poland.

The Ambassador of Afghanistan met the Rector of Jagiellonian University in Kraków

Kraków-Poland, Monday June 11, 2018

H.E. Mr. Gul Hussain Ahmadi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to the Republic of Poland met honorable prof. dr hab. med. Wojciech Nowak, Rector of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków.

The Ambassador was accompanied by the Embassy’s First Secretary, Mr. Mohammad Salim Zabardast throughout the visit. The meeting was also attended by honorable prof. dr hab. Adam W. Jelonek, the UJ Rector’s Representative for Internationalization and head of the UJ Institute of the Middle and Far East.

During the meeting the conversation focused on prospects for development of cooperation between institutions of higher education in Afghanistan and the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. Both sides pledged to work to increase the number of students from Afghanistan at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków.

Ambassador Ahmadi was also invited to deliver a lecture at the UJ Faculty of International and Political Studies.

The Kraków University is the oldest higher education institution in Poland and one of the oldest in Europe. It was founded on 12 May 1364 by the Polish king Casimir the Great.

H.E. Mr. Gul Hussain Ahmadi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Warsaw, met H.E. Mr. Andrzej Papierz, Undersecretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.

During the meeting  Ambassador Ahmadi and Undersecretary Papierz had a fruitful discussion and exchange of views on strengthening and enhancing bilateral relations between Afghanistan and Poland in different areas.

Ambassador of Afghanistan met with Parliamentarian delegation

Mr. Gul Hussain Ahmadi, Ambassador of Afghanistan in Warsaw met with Mr. Khalid Pashtoon, member of Parliament and Mr. Mohammad Rahim Hasanyar, member of Senate of the National Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, who came to Warsaw to attend to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Spring Session.

Ambassador Ahmadi, briefed the Parliamentarian delegation, about the activities of the Embassy and about the bilateral relations between Afghanistan and Poland, as well as other countries, accredited this embassy.
