Mr. Gul Hussain Ahmadi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Warsaw, had a fruitful meeting with Mr. Paweł Milewski, Director of Asia Pacific Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.
During this meeting, Director Mr. Milewski, expressed his happiness for the successful organizing of the training program of capacity building for some of the young employees of Afghanistan’s government by the Government of Poland in New Delhi, India. He added that the government of the Republic of Poland is also willing to continue such training programs in the future as well.
Ambassador Mr. Ahmadi expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Government of Poland for their support and assistance during the past years to Afghanistan, especially for the successful training program for the young employees of the government of Afghanistan in June this year, as well for the continuing of such training programs in the future.
At this meeting, the Ambssador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Warsaw and the Director of Asia Pacific Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Poland also had discussion and exchange of views on the current situation and peace process in Afghanistan, as well as regional issues.

H.E. Mr. Gul Hussain Ahmadi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Warsaw met H.E. Mr. Eduardas Borisovas, Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to the Republic of Poland.
At this meeting, first of all the Ambassador of Afghanistan conveyed his congratulations for the successful presidential election of Lithuania and then the Ambassadors had a fruitful discussion and exchange of views on the regional issues and bilateral relations between Afghanistan and Lithuania.
On Sunday 9 June 2019, the Embassy of Afghanistan in Warsaw, hosted a lunch on the occasion of Eid-e Fitr for Afghan Students studying in different universities in Poland - at the premises of the Embassy.
An Excellent regional visit was organized by Diplomatic Protocol of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland for the members of Diplomatic Corps in Warsaw, from 31 May to 2nd of June 2019, to the city of Katowice and several other beautiful cities in the Silesian Province (Województwo Śląskie).
During this trip, the Ambasaador of Afghanistan in Warsaw and other participants from the Diplomatic Corps in Warsaw visited different touristic attractions and historical places, also learned about the rich culture, history, economy and social life of the local residents in this part of Poland. The participants of the visit were warmly welcomed with hospitality of the authorities of Silesian Voivodeship.
