On 8th December 2017, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Warsaw hosted an official dinner at the Embassy of Afghanistan in Warsaw. The dinner was attended by Their Excellencies Ambassadors from the Asia-Pacific region and the accredited countries of the Embassy.

This program was attended by Their Excellencies Ambassadors from: China, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Iran, Pakistan, Thailand, Romania, Estonia and Lithuania.

On Thursday, 14 September 2017, the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to the Republic of Poland in Warsaw held a reception to celebrate the 98^th anniversary of regaining independence of Afghanistan in 1919.

On July 17, 2017, H.E. Mr. Gul Hussain Ahmadi, Ambassador-Designate of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to the Republic of Poland presented the copy of his letters of credence to H.E. Mr. Marek Magierowski, Deputy Foreign Minister of Republic of Poland. During the meeting, they also discussed the current bilateral relations.

H.E. Mr. Gul Hussain Ahmadi, Ambassador Extraordinary Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, met H.E. Mr. Stanisław Karczewski, Marshal (Speaker) of the Senate of the Republic of Poland, on Tuesday 28^th November 2017.

On 13 September 2017, H.E. Mr. Gul Hussain Ahmadi presented his Letters of Credence to H.E. Mr. Andrzej Duda, President of the Republic of Poland, accrediting him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to the Republic of Poland.
