Greeting ceremony of the President of the Republic of Croatia

January 28, 2016  – The solemn greeting ceremony in the courtyard of the Presidential Palace of the President of the Republic of Croatia H.E. Mrs. Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović accompanied by her spouse
 
On January 28, 2016, H.E. Abdul Hai Haider together with the Heads of Diplomatic Missions accredited in Warsaw attended the greeting ceremony of the President of the Republic of Croatia H.E. Mrs. Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović in the courtyard of the Presidential Palace. After the ceremony the leaders of Poland and Croatia met to hold talks about the concept of the Intermarium, the July’s NATO summit in Warsaw, as well as about security and migration crisis. 

New Year’s Meeting in the Senate edifice

The Marshal of the Senate Mr. Karczewski specified at the meeting that the most important challenges for the international community were thesecurity of the citizens and migration crisis. Participation in assemblies, delegations and international organizations are very important for the Senate. The Apostolic Nuncio, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, archbishop Celestino Migliore also participated in the New Year’s Meeting.

New Year’s Reception at the Presidential Palace

At the invitation of H.E. Andrzej Duda, President of the Republic of Poland, and First Lady Ms. Agata Kornhauser-Duda, H.E. Abdul Hai Haider, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Warsaw, together with his spouse Ms. Barbara Haider attended the New Year’s Reception for the Diplomatic Corps on Wednesday 19th of January 2016 at the Presidential Palace.

New Year’s Meeting at the Primate’s Palace

January 18, 2016 - New Year’s Meeting of the Minister of  Development Mr. Mateusz Morawiecki with the Diplomatic Corps at the Primate’s Palace
 
The most important topics of the talks were the main objectives of Polish economic development. During the meeting the results of current international cooperation were summarized and new prospects for its development described.  The Minister of Development Mr. Morawiecki announced the establishment of the Innovation Council and Export Promotion Agency. He also stressed that Poland was open to foreign investments.

Embassy starts to issue machine-readable passports
